I've been writing professionally about music technology for over 20 years. I'm currently the Technology Editor/Studio at Mix . I was an editor at Electronic Musician for 11 years, including as editor-in-chief for almost two years.

I'm a contributing writer for the Hub blog at Yamaha Music/USA, where I write a monthly recording column along with other assignments. I also blog for the mixing tutorial site pureMix; as well as writing tutorials and copy for companies like MOTU, Waves, and Universal Audio.
